The Mississippi Manufacturers Association approached me with a desire to bring attention to the wide variety of products made in Mississippi through a contest. 71 products were submitted by the public and determined to be valid, and over 118,000 votes were cast over a month-long period to determine the winner. Like the other contests, a platform did not exist that could fulfill the desires and requirements the association desired for their contest, so I put one together. The contest is about to enter its third year in existence.
